It's no secret, real men wear aprons

Welcome to the It's No Secret website

Not a Secret Society

Far from being a ‘sect’, Freemasonry opposes zealotry in any form and welcomes good men of all religions all around the world .

Having such a long and intriguing history and such esteemed members (Australia’s first Prime Minister, Sir Edmund Barton and Former US President, George Washington, to name but two) has also contributed to the false notion that Freemasonry is exclusive. But when you take a look at our origins, you soon discover that we have long welcomed broad membership.

Membership aside, some jurisdictions in Australia, including the United Grand Lodge in Sydney, have also welcomed public interest for many years. The UGL building is in fact a major conference centre and many people working in Sydney will have attended one or more conferences there. The Museum of Freemasonry is located on the third floor of the UGL building and is open to visitors in normal museum hours.

The soon to be published account of Freemasonry in Australia: It’s No Secret - Real Men Wear Aprons gives a comprehensive understanding of the origins, organisation, principles and modern developments of the Craft.
